10 TN ATH Tee Howell

As an East High alum, I've seen Tee grow the past couple of seasons. He is an excellent kick returner (already has 3 KO returns for TD), and can provide a spark for a team looking for someone looking for a burst. He has made several fantastic catches and has good hands, but has been used mostly as a Wildcat type QB the last couple of seasons. He's better cast as a Percy Harvin type player and doesn't have phenomenal arm strength or accuracy to be a collegiate dual threat in the wildcat package. I'm guessing he probably ends up with Sanders at Kentucky based on what I've heard. He is a good athlete and an even better kid. Under the radar a bit because the Knoxville area media doesn't give MHHS East a ton of coverage(West has a better history with players like Wesley Hale(MTSU), Brandon Fanney(Bama-North Alabama) and more notably James "Little Man" Stewart so they get more coverage). Sanders fell in love with Tee last season when scouts were there to watch DeMarcus Knight. No matter where Tee ends up, someone will be getting an underrated player who can contribute at the FBS level.

You all should this kid's little brother. He played basketball, football and ran track in the conference I coach in. Last year, as an 8th grader, Tyson ran a 11.1 in the 100m dash on our track. He's probably close to 6 feet tall and weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 170 lbs. From what I here, Tee's little brother is supposed to be the better athlete. There's another kid from Morristown that is a monster for his age...Caleb McBride. Heard anything about these guys BigOrange?

There are some really good athletes coming out of Morristown right now.

Yeah, the quality of athlete in Motown has certainly improved over the past few years.

Tyson seems to be a kid that has received a ton of buzz around town as a a lot of people think he might grow to about 6'2 and about 195 lbs or so by the time he graduates. He is a talented young man according to everything I have heard, haven't seen him too much to really judge. As for McBride, this kid has some serious buzz about being a force, I'm looking forward to trying to see both in the near future and if I can get lucky, I'll put some video of each out there for everyone here to see.

i kno tee personally and he is a beast. i graduated from east last year and i managed the football team so ive got to see what tee can do and some of the stuff is just crazy like last year at volunteer we had a 4th and 16 play so we lined tee up at wide reciever and just told our qb to throw it as far as he can in tee's direction and tee caught it and went 75 yards for a td. i hope he does go to kentucky cause ive talked to him and it sounds like they are close to offering.

McBride got pulled from a JV basketball game a few years ago for dunking over one of my 7th graders...monster. Caleb, just from having talked to him, is a good kid. He just has to learn to believe in himself. He's got a bad case of the I can'ts.

I've heard from several folks that Tee is about as good of a big brother as there is. Sounds like he's human, but really tries to do right. I wish him all the best.

Well, Tee had a good game this past week against Seymour winning the PrepXtra Offensive Player of the Week award. I really hope he gets a chance to compete at the D-I level, I think someone will be getting themselves a quality young player.

Combining the game management and accuracy of Tee Martin with the hair and singing ability of Jordan Howell.

Tee Howell signed his LOI yesterday with Austin Peay. After his little incident with the coaching staff, nothing more than a difference of opinion nothing too bad, he never seemed to get the same interest. Good luck to him.
