I watched this kid play tonight in the CBHS @ MUS game. This kid is a monster on both sides of the ball. Projected as a LB in college by most schools.

I was really impressed with his speed and ability to move from sideline to sideline tonight. He gave Brunetti (who has battled a groin injury) some fits in the first half. I know some coaches (respected ones) in the area think that he is better than Maclin.

Isn't that where Chris Walker is from?

Yeah. I had heard about this kid, but he is one of those who you appreciate more in person. Seems to have great instincts. had some big hits, played well in pass coverage, and showed some great speed for his size.

I am honestly a little surprised that we have apparently not shown much interest in him.

I dont think anyone would disagree with you on that...but the way you said it...you make it seem as if the kid isnt D-1 material when he clearly is..

I am willing to bet that if TN came calling, this kid would have interest just like the rest. Obviously our staff is aware of him and feels that they have better people ahead of him at this time.

The way this staff recruits, there are going to be a lot of TN players in the coming years who may be SEC caliber, but may get passed over by TN because we recruit over them within their position.
