Dorian Cozart

Running Back
Knoxville (TN) Catholic

Ht:5-foot-7
Wt: 190 lbs
Forty:4.46
Class: 2010 (High School)

Sorry if already posted couldn't find a thread, but whats the latest on this local guy?

I would have thought with his reported speed 4.46 he would have some offers by now from someone. Do you think he along with Earnhardt from Mt. Juliet and Keon Williams from Red Bank who is probably a LB or DB get offers late depending on who's left or the spots we have open?

Is he related to former Lenoir City great and all-time nucklehead Travis Cozart?

Yes he is. Travis was a SR when I was in 7th grade. He is still the best high school RB I have ever personally saw play. He got caught up in that phone card thing at UT I believe, then pissed his talent away by being an idiot. Hopefully his cousin is smarter than that.

What's up with Knoxville putting out the tiny scat backs? This kid and Devrin Young.

And what's up with Catholic and having decent football players? When I was in high school in the mid 1990s they sucked.

there is another one..Caleb Blance..2012 5'5 160...had over 1,200 yards on the ground and was all state as a frosh at Webb...ran on same AAU relay team with Dev Young......

Catolic is a powerhouse now in the state of TN.....one of the states best programs..

I'm in the same grade as caleb at Webb. extremely nice and someone a coach would want on there team. runs like a 4.43 40 already. his brother though is one to look out for, but he's a year younger. our backfield will be stacked when we are seniors. However I believe Aaron (his bro) could be a great db.

ya he's already bigger than caleb in height, although thats not saying much. 5'5 is generous for caleb, he's really short, more like 5'3. but aaron is very shifty and made middle school ball look easy. both have good d 1 potential.

he is the real deal......I just wish he would get out on the combine/camp circuit and show it....crazy that he hasnt been to one combine or camp........the NUC in Nashville..didnt come to the TNVarsity.com combine...no camps.....he cant get exposure by sitting at home..."hoping" the coaches see him on friday night....recruiting doesnt work like that anymore ...and it would have been very good for caleb to get out and measure his skills against others...

maybe i should tell him to get out there and go to one, we have a rising senior who's been going to combines and that's michael carillon. The one thing caleb does need to work on though is hanging on to the ball. I remember a kick return against A-E that was amazing cuz i do some student announcing at webb and it was great to call.
