Terrance Martin - Football Recruiting

RB out of Franklin Co. He has a nice blend of speed and power. My lil bro is good friends with him and Terrance told him that he plans on going to bama and tennessee's summer camps. Also told my bro he had a offer from Bama.

FWIW grew up a gator fan.

I noticed him too. Has some excellent measurables but only averaged 5 ypc last season.

He didnt have good lineman AT ALL. I watched him almost every game and he had not very good llineman. he earned every yard he got.

So you want a guy that barely averages more than Arian Foster did in college (in the SEC no less)... This guy would get killed in the SEC. Than again, i've never seen him play so this is JMO.

new article....he is hearing from bame, ole miss, us, UCLA, louisville, Auburn, stanford, and others.

Those numbers include two games were Martin tallied over 190 + yards. Those numbers didn't translate to a winning season last year, but for the 2009-2010 season, Martin remains optimistic.

Who knows, may be a sleeper, we shall see. I say a small school like WKU or TN TECH, TSU will get him.

Just talked to TMartin. Clemson is coming at him hard. He told me if he goes to thier camp then they will offer. He also said CJChaney was at his HS to see him.

He said Clemson was #1, but UT was right up there. I will be attending his Spring Scrimmage tomorrow and will give an update of who was there and how he looked.

Just got back from the game. It got called at half time because of lightning. Martin looked really good. He is definately up to 195 pounds. I didnt get exact yards but he gained plenty in limited action. Clemson was at the game. Us and Clemson are the schools that are on him the hardest. Who ever offers him first will get his commitment IMO. He will attend UT and Clemson camps in the summer.

In a recent Rivals article it says Clemson is his leader and We are number two. TMart believes Clemson is close to offering. He told me who ever offers first is who he will commit to. In the article he said Chaney is really cool and that the staff really likes him, and that We are recruiting him hard.

Had 252 yards rushing with 4 TDs against White Co. yesterday.....didnt play much of the 4th quarter from what i heard.

Lol there goes Matt with Terrance Martin again... He seems like a solid back. I don't think he'll get a UT offer, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got a Clemson offer and jumped on it.

If you saw the rest of the O, you would give him that many carries too. The coach isnt the best either. TM is almost all they have on O.

No that i know of yet. I havnt talked to him in a couple weeks tho. I know his top 3 were Clemson, us, and Bama. Gran and Chaney have been by the HS to see him.

Thats cool. Does he really expect to get any offers from schools like us or Bama? I'd hate to see him go somewhere and never get off the bench. Hopefully once some of the other higher rated guys start committing, this kid can get himself a good offer. I'd love to see him come to UT and succeed.....but if we offer an in-state RB, wouldnt it be that Darkwa kid first?
