From UTSports:
Ten Vols Named to Coaches' Inaugural Preseason All-SEC Teams
Munoz, Burnett, Colquitt Named to Coaches First-Team
July 22, 2004
Tennessee placed 10 players on the inaugural Coaches' Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Football team released today by the league office in Birmingham, Ala.
The preseason squad includes a first, second and third team. Each SEC squad had at least two student-athletes on the combined squads. LSU led all schools with 13 players selected, including nine on the first-team. Georgia, Tennessee and Ole Miss each had 10 players selected, with Georgia having six players on the first-team.
Offensive tackle Michael Munoz, linebacker Kevin Burnett and punter Dustin Colquitt represent the Vols on the first-team. Colquitt was one of just three unanimous choices by coaches on the first-team, joining Auburn running back Carnell Williams and Georgia defensive end David Pollack.
Running back Cedric Houston, wide receiver James Banks, linebacker Kevin Simon and cornerback Jason Allen were second-team selections, while offensive guard Cody Douglas, defensive end Parys Haralson and placekicker James Wilhoit were named to the third-team.
Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players, thus a unanimous selection earns 11 of 12 first-team votes.
