5'11 170lbs Pahokee (FL) Pahokee

He already shows big offers from Florida, Florida State, Miami, and Michigan.

We already have his quarterback here. I think the early word is Florida State in front, but that could change with a year of work.

De'Joshua Johnson - Football Recruiting

see him in two videos here---

De'Joshua? Really?

But I'd like to get him. We should keep pulling kids out of Pahokee. They put out so many good players.

do you think Kiffin's snafu with the coach holds us back here? Hopefully The Nuke can give us an assist.

our biggest concern is getting him out of that state---FSU will be tough to beat.

Kiffin's already contacted the school to apologize. Only fans and message board posters are still concerned with this. It was never that big of an issue, in my opinion.

It will be up to Eddie Gran and Nuke to recruit him here. We could get a huge boost from our 2010 QB pledge and other FL targets. Tennessee is going to be a national recruiting power in 2010 and beyond.

Nuke will have a huge hand in trying to get this guy in Knoxville. Getting this kid would definately help us getting a pipe started in that high school.

How in the world can we be so arrogant to think we will be a recruiting power?

Seriously? The full staff was intact for three weeks and during those weeks they got more talent to take official visits to Tennessee than Fulmer and crew did the last four years.

If you don't believe stand back and enjoy. Then you can climb on the bandwagon again. :clapping:

Almost every major recruit that was undecided had interest in us in weeks. Don't mention the hire was two weeks before a dead period around Christmas. Give this staff a year with these kids we'll have a great class. If we don't have a top 5 class next year I'll be disappointed. The Orange Swarm is here to stay.

De'Joshua is pretty dead set on FSU, no signs of him wavering from that as there were with Nu'Keese. But there are still 51 weeks until NSD 2010, so we will see.

:lolabove:BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Ur kidding right?? A pipeline to the school where he accused the coach/school of being dishonest cheaters who would tamper with the kid's LOI?? There will never be a pipeline to that school...or a lot of schools for that matter, because of what he did. So many of you act like nothing happened...and it is baffling to me. That coach will never encourage a player to go play for the boy blunder. That was probably one of the most cardinal mistakes he could have made...if he makes moronic accusations like that about one coach he will do it to another, and believe me, coaches across the nation have taken notice to his ignorance.

Maybe you're right. But if we win a few more games this year than we did last year, everyone will put this on the back-burner.

I hope it is that easy...he has some major damage control to do...now this leak about him throwing a tantrum because his driver was late to the airport...and him saying that he was firing people at UT!!!!! I mean, this guys looks worse and worse by the day. I really think they should wire his jaw shut and let his wife communicate for him. I guess next he is going to fire the deacons of the church and accuse the 80 yr old ushers of stealing money out of the collection plate!!!

Some of the biggest a$$ holes in CFB have also been the most successful. This is a cutthroat game in the most cutthroat conference. If he wins then all of your gripes are forgotten, trust me.

I understand all of that believe me...I have been an avid football fan since I was 7. So for 26 yrs I have seen the circus that is college football. I just honestly can't believe it was humanly possible to have made one's self look so unbeleivable stupid in 3 months as Kiffin has. Stirring the pot, is a go...knowing how to stir the pot correctly is, well a no go for Kiffin. False accusations of rival coaches, high school coaches, and schools cheating is not stirring the pot...that is pulling your tallywhacker out to show off and it's an inch long.

The best comparison I can think of is Belicheck. I know he has been a proven winner, but he was caught cheating, is a complete d*ck to the media, is rude to other coaches, puts all of his players on the injury list just to be an a$$, and so on and so on. Even after all of this, he wins and in turn gets the respect of the media, opponents, and fans.

I don't think Kiffin is as big of a butthead as Bill, I think he is just a young coach trying to do his job and stepped into the middle of a dogfight that is the SEC. I agree he may have mis-stepped, but as long as he learns from it then its all gravy.

He is surrounded by a staff that has been in the SEC for a while. They know how to play the games. Kiffin will do fine with these guys on staff. I think the most important thing for this staff is to coach the current team we have. If they do a good job of that then the wins will come. When the wins come, the recruits come. All of this garbage goes on every offseason. The CFB media is bored and have to talk about something.

If UT wins the rest will take care of itself. Just win baby, just win.

You are comparing Apples to rotten Oranges my friend...Belichek has won Super Bowls...plural. Kiffin hasn't won a dart contest. That's like comparing Dane B. to Shaq...
