I think UT is trying to make a big push for McCartney. He has 2 visits left but doesn't know where he will be visiting. He says Miami, UGA, UT, Rutgers, and USF are battling for the final 2 visits...

McCartney is AWESOME. He is all WR. he has an advanced LOS release already.
It be ashame to see him waste his talent away at WVA

we are looking for more speed at WR. I think 2 guys we would make room for would be Justin Hunter and McCartney.

I believe UF & UM are still recruiting him hard and have the best chance to swing him

If you had Miami , Ga, and TN on your list and your a WR why would you even think of visiting Rutgers and USF over any of those?

Mccartney is one of the better wrs in this class... it may be too late in the process though...unless the staff kept this recruitment close to the vest...

He is the cousin of Ocho Cinco...when i first saw film of him at a camp i thought it was Ocho Cinco...

McCartney probably has the best hands of any WR in this class. Would be a major pickup, but he'll probably end up going elsewhere.

Yea, I don't think we got too good of a shot either, but it looks like we are going to make a run at him. Probably ends up at The U when it's all said and done...

Seems to be down to UF, UM, and WVU. I am surprised he hasn't committed to the canes already which makes me think he might go to WVU. However, they just lost Doc Holliday which makes me think it bodes well for the U. I would love for him to go to UF, but I don't see it happening no matter how hard we try.

I heard he is another silent commit to UF. :whistling: Merry Christmas rsg, and to everyone who reads this.
