2:42 a.m. November 18, 1999. The night bonfire fell, twelve Texas A&M students passed away, and twenty-seven were injured. Tonight will mark the 10th year anniversary of this tragedy. Regardless of where you went to school, or whom you cheer for, there are some things bigger than sports.

The service was last night, and it was everything it should have been. This town, however has just about shut down today. It looks like gameday around here with everyone's flags out and most folks have some type of University shirt or jacket on. Just kinda errie and very quiet today.
