The secondary group was among the event's deepest and most talented. Besides Milliner, Valley 2011 safety prospect Enrique Florence and Walker 2011 cornerback Jacquese Kirk showed that the secondary class once again expects to be strong in-state next year. Both prospects were all-state selections as sophomores. Florence ran a 4.47 40-yard dash while Kirk recorded a 4.42. Going even younger, McAdory defensive back Marcus Turner had the fastest 40-time among all rising sophomores with a 4.49. From TideFans
I'm a Walker High alumni but haven't seen any games since the days of Linnie Patrick. But one of my best buds who never misses a game tells that Jacquese Kirk, a DB on our 2011 prospects list is probably the best football player at Walker since Linnie. Says his closing speed on the ball is as good as he's ever seen at the high school level. He's an outstanding WR as well. Poster On TOS
Jaquese Kirk, is a 5'11" 180 pounds defensive back Walker High School, in Jasper, Alabama. Kirk may be one of the top defensive back in the state of Alabama for 2011. Alabama loaded up on defensive backs in 2010 and the number of defensive backs they take in 2011 will be limited. Nonetheless, Bama and Auburn for that matter will still get their fair share. However, their backlogs at defensive back may open a door with Kirk for Tennessee. From "X".
