The Player: Marsh demonstrated that he would be a good defensive prospect as he lined up at defensive end for Class 5A Blount for the better part of two seasons, but when coach Kelvin Sigler stood him up as a full-time linebacker halfway through this season, Marsh excelled at what will surely be his college position. Long and athletic, Marsh won the MVP of the linebacker group at the Spanish Fort EAC combine last summer. Right around 200 pounds, Marsh will need to continue to add weight.
The Skinny: Marsh holds a verbal offer from South Carolina and has been a frequent visitor to Tuscaloosa this fall. Expect more offers to follow after his junior film is released.
