Just alittle inside info on Gadsden City. Sorry if you already know. It was put together a few years ago by combining 3 high school there in Gadsden. They want to compete with the Hoovers, Pratville's etc... Hugh school, looks like a small college, has a massive stadium for a Alabama High School. So they are geeting the best of the best athletes there. Chances are that kids from there will be good.

You always need to take 1 great running back. More depending on dept but as a rule of thumb always try to get atleast 1. In our case I say we go after an elite back this year.

Scout:

Currently Harris holds official offers from Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida State.

“I love Tennessee,” Harris said. “Every time I take a trip up to the campus there is always something new. I went to the Auburn game. I was very impressed how the UT fans stayed in the entire game.”

Harris was impressed by Knoxville and the surrounding Tennessee River.

“I love the water,” Harris said. “I love how the stadium is right off the river. To see so many fans in one place is amazing.”

Harris is looking forward to participating in a summer camp at Rocky Top in a couple of months.

“I definitely want to go to summer camp at Tennessee,” Harris said. “I’m already making plans for it.”

I like hearing recruits talk well about the area but he needs to bulk up some though. His weight my have changed since those stats were published.

I know he was at Auburn's spring game cause he sat right in front of me. Alabama usually has their pick in Gadsden, but his comments about UT have been very positive. Should be interesting.

I just do not think is that high on our baord and he knows it. This is why I said in another post it could be a great year to into AL and get players for UT.

Yeah TW I think you're right about UA not being very high on him. I guess it depends on what other backs they go after.

"Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Florida State, Clemson and Alabama are the main ones," reported Alonzo. "I feel at home at those schools and they show me alot of love. I can see myself playing at any one of those schools."

Also stated that he is in no hurry to make a decision and will decide when he feelis it is the right time.

With Cooper leaving I could see UT needing another FB. Im high on Fugate but if DD plans on using the FB often, we need a bruiser who wants to block bc IMO Fugate is more of an athletic FB who can help Simms or Bray get out of trouble from time to time.
