"Recruiting is going good," Gardner said. "I've got just about every team in the SEC looking at me. I go to Tennessee (today) and I'll probably be going to Ole Miss and Vanderbilt on Saturday."

Gardner is planning on attending camp at Mississippi State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia and Vanderbilt as well as any others that he can fit into his summer schedule.

"The visit to Tennessee was really nice," he said. "I went to the athletic facility and saw the stadium. The practice was very live. It was exciting. I talked to the running backs coach. I really liked their head coach. He is a nice guy.

"It was my first trip ever to Tennessee. I really liked it up there. They were basically saying the same thing as Southern Miss. They are going to come see me in a few weeks. They also want me to attend one of their one day camps."
