It should be a good ballgame. Give a slight edge to A@M being at home, but it won’t be easy and could see it go either way. Not a game I would bet on but with Bama a 2.5 favorite if I had to pick I would take aggies. But that line does make me scared. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Tide didn’t pull it out either. I am really interested to see how A@M-Bama and Georgia-Kentucky shake out. Missouri and LSU will be interesting as well. Outside the conference Oklahoma-Texas is the top matchup for the early kickoff.
Bama averages 360 yards a game on offense. A&M averages 450. I was surprised by the difference. Similar defenses - A&M has more tackles for loss and sacks.
A&M has only given up 6 sacks. Bama has given up 16 sacks.
A&M has the more experienced QB. A&M is playing at home. Bama is not your Bama of old.
I know the bama qb can run--but rushing three is absolutely stupid. College DBs can't cover very well even with
a decent pass rush. You let a QB stand in the pocket for 5 seconds, as A&M did, and you're sure to get scorched.
