2011 Springdale (Ark.) Shiloh Christian defensive tackle Samuel Harvill, 6-0, 250, did 67 reps of 185 pounds in the bench press (no, that is not a typo). He also ran the 40-yard dash in 5.16 seconds (hand held).

He's been around for a while. He went to the Army combine last year. I think the people in Arkansas have been keeping an eye on him since middle school.

Joining Badger on the defensive line was Freshman MVP Samuel Harvill, who is actually an 8th grader. Harvill, who will be attending the famous Shiloh Christian High School in Missouri, turned in amazing combine numbers for a player of his age. At 6-foot-0 and 239-pounds, he ran a 5.13 40, 4.98 shuttle, had a 8’0 broad, 24-inch vertical and an absolutely amazing 48 reps at 150-pounds. It should come as no surprise that Harvill currently holds the U.S. age group record with a mark of 405-pounds on the bench.

500 lb bench = insane measurables.

World record bench for his age = insane measurables

Oh please. Look at everything else and take into account that he's 15. He already holds the world record in his age group for the bench as well.
Plus 5.1 is still pretty solid for a DT.

that is one strong mofo...looks explosive too

I'm sure Coach O is all over him...if not put out the signal!!!! YAW YAW to the rescue!

I'm sorry, but out of all the measurables listed, only the bench stands out. Everything else is solid but hardly insane. I just want to know how he plays.

Bench records haven't been helping us out lately. I'd rather see a lineman breaking squat records.
