Sanders said some college coaches have told him they believe Hobbi (who was listed at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds last season) is better than Chandler Hamilton junior Christian Westerman, a five-star recruit by Scout and Rivals, who has more than 30 offers.

"I do not say this loosely, but he will be the best offensive lineman ever to come out of Saguaro," Sanders said. "He's really good. He's got flexible hips, long arms, he's athletic.

"One thing about Cyrus, he loves the game of football."

Well OL and DL guys will have a shot at PT sooner than later at UT that's for sure.

“The old staff showed some interest but never offered,” Hobbi told InsideTennessee.com. “My coach called and asked the new staff if they had any interest, they watched my film and apparently liked it a lot.”

“I know football is like a religion in the South,” Hobbi said. “I want to take an official visit there to check out the game day atmosphere and see what all the fuss is all about. I know that a lot of great players have come out of that university and that excites me.”

I definitely won't get my hopes up on a west coast guy but perhaps taking in a game at Neyland and seeing Hiestand's track record of putting guys in the league can sway this guy

This guy has a really impressive offer list. Why exactly is he interested in UT? Not to mention, there are many other schools in the South after him.

6'4" on Rivals, 6'2" on scout. Big and Strong. Looks like a Guard to me. Is he projected to OG or OT?

I would guess because we need linemen...maybe I'm wrong tho.

This guy is the definition of "beaststud". Hopefully we can wow him when he visits and land his signature on NSD to go along with Richardson, Kerbyson, Posey, Luatua, and Davonta Rogers. That would be a great OL class!

Beaststud was a new one on me and made me chuckle. Is this the replacement for superstar when the athlete in question is one bad.. Shut yo mouth? I also like footballassasin and swingingmulejock

Watched this kid train today. He isn't a true 6'4" but close. He is well built for his size with good athleticism. He would have to put on a lot more weight once he gets to the next level though. Does he still have any interest?
