11 early entries for LSU now

I'm not sure it's fair to count Mathieu against LSU's numbers.

Even then, 10 early entries is an SEC record.

What does this say about LSU? Does it say they are producing a lot of NFL talent or does it say something about the coaching staff? Serious question.

And who does Georgia add to their West schedule next season? L.S.U.

It says Both! It says their coaching staff is great at recruiting talented kids and turning them into NFL players!

That is just juniors declaring. They are losing 10 or 11 sr's as well. I dont know what all SR's were contributors but 20+ players in 1 year is huge.

Makes you question the recruiting limits the SEC adopted a couple of years ago. I wonder if the Presidents even considered this scenario when they adopted them against the coaches wishes? We got hurt by the limits when we had huge attrition between coaching changes(Fulmer to Kiffin to Dooley). We couldn't get back to a full class of 85 the next year due to the limits. Now LSU may be unintentionally punished for having too many players leave early for the NFL?

As long as it doesn't hurt Alabama or Florida it is cool with the SEC.

A little of both I think. No way all 11 of those guys are leaving purely because they think its their time.

Exactly. I am also trying to figure out how A&M is going to sign 35 players. I realize they brought in low # last year. Although the way I understood it was the player had to be for that class as far as backcounting. Am I missing how this works?
