Clinton-Dix came to the Tampa event with plenty of hype and plenty of offers and he did nothing to hurt that reputation. At safety, he certainly looks the part with good length and size while not being too bulky. On film, Clinton-Dix makes a lot of plays off the edge and a lot of plays coming downhill but he showed over the weekend that he is more than capable of turning his hips, playing zone coverage as a free and really defending the pass effectively. He cemented himself as an elite safety nationally with his play.

Bama and FSU are 1 and 2. He sounds like he may commit to Bama soon but I've been told to look for him to be a Nole in the end.

smh Ive got to see this Grant kid from Ohio that they have ranked higher than HCD
cus I find that hard to believe. HCD is the best DB outta florida since Antonio Cromartie, and he may be better.

I've seen Doran play basketball, great athlete. Hear he's all that in football too. Same high school as LeBron. Doesn't mean anything just a fyi lol.

NO DOUBT... It would be nice to turn him, but I don't see it happening. Still we can dream. Jay do you see him staying in the secondary or moving up to a LB?

IMO he is the best DB in the country and will stay there.
If I had to pick any DB who would be end up being a 1st round pick from this HS class, HCD is the guy I choose

I hope so, he is recruiting for us harder than P Sims did last year. The word, if he does visit UT, he will be there for the UT/UA game, so I hope some of the other top recruits that UT and UA are battling for will be there because this kid is all out recruiting for us.

I do not think we can flip Karlos Williams from FSU but HCD is he reason we look to be getting an official visit from KW.
