Hometown Fort Lauderdale, FL
High School Saint Thomas Aquinas School
Height 6'3"
Weight 260 lbs.

Hart attends Cardinal Gibbons in Ft. Lauderdale and measured in at Florida's FNL this summer at 6'4" 260. Hart was 14 at the time of the camp and turned 15 at the end of August. So when Hart enters fall camp his freshman year of college he will be 16 turning 17 just before the season opener.

He doesn't have a UT offer, but Coach Gran was at his game today vs. Pompano Ely, and Hart was probably the top prospect in the game.

Hart is hearing from FSU, Miami, Florida, and has been offered by Maryland to date. He's a kid to keep an eye on for Vols fans.

Avery Johnson was the best prospect in that game. Johnson is already 6-2 and built like a college sophomore, and only is a sophomore. Gran was impressed by Johnson who is the little brother of LSU starting CB Patrick Peterson.

Avery Johnson did struggle with some drops in the first half, but he's good for a soph. He should be real good in the future, but talented WRs are a dime a dozen. Athletic OL with room to grow (Hart's dad is like 6'7" 300+) who happen to have just turned 15 not quite 2 months ago will be the more coveted prospects because those are harder to find.

Obviously Gator fans down here hate the Vols coaches coming to FL, but I haven't heard anything negative from the people that matter the most down here 1) The prospects themself 2) Their HS coaches

Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas has got at least one representative here in offensive tackle Bobby Hart. Hart has got offers from Maryland, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Duke and Florida State.

Hart said that he's open to everybody and that he's close to Coach Addazio at Florida. He also said that he has got good relationships with Coach Kitchens at Vanderbilt, Coach Williams at Alabama and Coach Gran at FSU. About Gran, Hart said, "I had switched from cardinal gibbons and he was like oh guess what, I switched too from Tennessee to Florida State. He got me the offer from Tennessee and from Florida State. I haven’t talked to the Tennessee staff yet so I don’t know if that offer still stands."

Hart grew up a Miami fan and is still waiting on an offer from the Hurricanes. He talks to Coach Stoutland regularly including this morning when he asked when an offer would be coming. Stoutland said he's ready to give him one but they're waiting on 2010 numbers to get cleared up. It sounds like Miami would be the leader with an offer.

At St. Thomas Aquinas, Hart said that they've all got hard hats and that the motto is "We're under construction."

Hart moves his feet well, but still needs a lot of improvement on his technique. His size and the fact he is over a year younger than many his classmates make him an intriguing prospect.

Are we recruiting Rashad Greene and Phillip Dorsett to superb wide outs in that program. Both were outstanding at the Under Armour Underclassmen combine Earlier this month

“I have offers from Florida State, Georgia, Wake Forest, Duke, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland and others,” said Hart. “Those are the only ones I can think of right now. Alabama, Miami, Florida and USC are starting to show interest in me

For the 2011 class offensive lineman are going to be again a hot commodity for the Vols as they look to continue to bring in athletes along the offensive line and one of those players is Bobby Hart (Fort Lauderdale, FL/ St. Thomas Aquinas HS) the Vols are a familiar school already.

“I know the Vols signed our kicker last year in Michael Palardy and they also were a school another teammate Cody Riggs really thought hard about,” said Hart. “So I’ve talked to Riggs about his thoughts on Tennessee and he’s said good things about them. Said the Vols are good up and coming school that takes care of you and that he thought really long and hard about going there.”

you have to like the sound of that

"florida state is my leader right now. They are recruiting me the hardest and i feel comfortable with them. Alabama and lsu are also in my top three. Lsu is recruiting me very hard as well. I'm going to start evaluating things more after spring, but right now those are some early leaders," he said.

Hart continued, "fsu being my leader, i really like offensive line coach (rick) trickett and coach (eddie) gran. They are also recruiting me the hardest. Lsu is recruiting me very hard as well and it's a great school. Alabama, i definitely think highly of them. I will visit them for sure whether unofficial or official. I talk to coach (bobby) williams quite a bit."
