Well, he already attended UGA's Jr Day. Had a great little chat with Branden Smith, supposedly. He projects more as a DB than as a straight safety.

Swann, ranked as the No. 8 cornerback in the country by Scout.com, said he still favors Alabama slightly over Georgia and those two lead solidly over Florida, Virginia Tech, Kentucky and USC. All of his favorites have offered as well as South Carolina, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Tennessee (from the old staff, “The new coaches have contacted my coach,” he said.) and Mississippi State.

"Right now, I am really high on Alabama. They are my number one right now for sure. They've got a lot going for them but it's their coaching staff that really puts them above everybody else. As far as defensive coaching, there's nobody better. Nick Saban is probably the best defensive back coach in all of college football and Kirby Smart is probably the best defensive coordinator in college football. I would definitely love to be coached by those guys."

"I'm not totally sure yet but I might come to Tuscaloosa this weekend. I know a lot of other guys are going down there to visit and I'd love to get there if I can.

"Aside from that, I plan on visiting Florida and Georgia this spring for spring practices and I also may go to Ohio State's spring game."

Although Swann has not narrowed his list down there are four schools that are recruiting him the hardest.

"Georgia is recruiting me real hard," Swann said. "Then Florida and Alabama and Tennessee has been recruiting me real hard lately."

As with every other position, our depth chart should be a nice selling point here. Wilcox needs to be selling Kyle Wilson.
