I think we have a really good chance with him considering how well Dooley recruited Georgia in 3 weeks.

Why do Scout & Rivals say he goes to Auburn HS in Auburn, AL & you show him in GA? Did he just move? If he's really in Auburn, he is going to be a lot harder to recruit.

Class of 2011 ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive lineman LaMichael Fanning (Auburn, Ala.) updated ESPN affiliate Web site AuburnUndercover.com on the early stages of his recruitment.

"I am looking at Alabama hard, and they are kind of like my top team right now because they stay on me all the time," he said. "(Auburn) comes in second because, when I got down here, they were dead on it. But I really am staying wide open right now."

Fanning's also holding offers from Georgia, Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina and hears from the Tide, Tigers and Tar Heels the most.
Came out a little while ago, but now thread to put it.

Supposedly he is transferring to a school right across the Georgia line from here to make it easier to qualify.

Heard Auburn fans were really letting him know they weren't to happy with his choice of schools.

Yeah that was thought to be the original reason for him transferring, and that might even be what he is saying. But the fact is he has a much better chance of qualifying at the new school.

FWIW, if you watch the guy play, he is not very impressive. I saw him get thrown all around the field by a guy giving up six inches and 50-60 lbs. Definitely a project.

Actually it is not a new school per se. He is from there and attended there his freshman year. He moved to Auburn HS last season and now is transferring back.

He also stated that the rumors about Barn fans giving him a hard time had nothing to do with it. Just going back home.

In regards to being a project I believe it but I do trust CNS. Also remember this kid came of the bench last year as a sub.
