ASSETS: Big, barrel-chested athlete that is light on his feet and very strong.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: He needs to work on redistributing his bad body weight which will make him even stronger and more mobile.
WHAT WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE: Won the Strongest Man award by benching 185 pounds 30 times while showing light feet and a mean attitude during the lineman challenge. His efforts garnered a share of the OL MVP award.
CONCLUSION: Has two offers at this time but that will surely change since he can snap under center and shotgun while possessing the girth to contribute early. There is no doubt that he has the ability to play center at the next level.

Cook has just picked up a Vol offer.

He also holds offers from Ole Miss, GT, UConn, Kentucky, USF,, UCF, and MTSU.

He is the 3rd true Center the Vols have offered along with Luatua and Kelly.

All are great options IMO. It really looks like this staff can find some good players.

Tarik (pronounced tuh-REEK) attended UT's recent Lineman Camp but as a spectator, not as a participant.

"I didn't do anything. I just watched the O-line coach and got to meet him," Cook said. "Coach (Harry) Hiestand is pretty cool. He seems like he really knows what he's doing, plus he came from the NFL."
