Hubbs said in the WR the staff is evaluating him, I tried to look up a recent rivals profile or any kind of stats about him & could'nt find anything. I found his profile out of high school & he was rated a 2* who signed with Northwestern State.

4.9 forty ain't too bad for a guy over 300 lbs.

Which shouldn't matter. Cody is just a mass of untalented fat. His only purpose was to take up space. Skill not required...

Except the fact that he blocked 2 kicks and is solely responsible for the win over us last year. An argument could be made that he, above any other UA player, can be credited for their winning streak.

Not entirely true. Who says Lincoln's kick would have gone through the uprights if it hadn't been blocked by Cody? I see what your implying, but Cody didn't single handedly win it. Many different outcomes could have taken place.:thumbsup:

another guy who is either a) an untalented dud that our merry band of fools is wasting time on or b) an indication that the staff is doing its job by finding players before other schools or the recruiting svcs do.

Until some of these low rated guys hit the field... we won't know exactly which.

FWIW, Hughes was a two star out of HS. If he had a running mate to keep everyone from doubling him on every play, he might well be all SEC this year.

Very well said. It will be time before we know what we're getting. Presently, I'm hopeful for the best and glad the staff is combing through the JC ranks for anyone that can immediately contribute.

I would like to see a highly-regarded HS DT commit. But, the team needs someone that step on the field and make an impact next season.

lol at the guy saying cody sucked..clearly forgot how he dominated college OL and is doing well for the Ravens..he is apparently not too bad...yes he is very fat but that is what we are looking for is someone in the middle at NT that cant be moved
