Hutson, who met with head coach Derek Dooley, Harry Hiestand and Terry Joseph, said the Vols remain on even ground with several programs but liked what he learned.
"It was just the basic questions I'll ask a lot of colleges. How many linemen they're taking, where they'll see me. Questions like that," said Hutson, versatile enough to play center or guard at the next level. "It went good. I had a good camp, talked to a couple of coaches. I saw what Tennessee had to offer. I talked to coach Dooley, (offensive line) coach Hiestand and (recruiting coordinator) coach Joseph. They seemed like good people and good coaches."
UT's coaches told Hutson the Vols would like to take four or five linemen in this class, which Hutson noted was on par with several other programs he's considering, and said his experience in Knoxville ensured "Tennessee in no way hurt itself" during Hutson's trip.
