Linebacker
Detroit (MI) Renaissance

Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 232 pounds
Forty: 4.62 seconds
Vertical: 34 inches
Class: 2011 (High School)

Has offers from MSU, Alabama, Colorado, Syracuse, and Vanderbilt...Renaissance assistant coach Antoine Edwards says Lawrence gave the team 100 yards rushing in the latest game when put in at running back. Attended the Michigan-ND game this past weekend, and despite having not yet offered, Michigan said he is one of their top priorities. Only planned visit is Michigan-MSU...USC, Ohio State, and Florida keep inviting to games but nothing planned....might go to Tennessee for a game.

Dubbed the next "LT", Lawrence Thomas could be the top junior prospect in the Midwest. Growing substantially over the last year, Thomas is now a 6-foot-4, 237 pound outside linebacker/wide receiver, possessing the NFL-size, athleticism, and violent mentality that every college program drools over. A terror in opposing backfields, Thomas had 26 tackles for loss and 16 sacks as a junior, while also serving as a devastating blocker on offense.

Dude is huge and runs a 4.6

With guys like Saban and Kiffin in the mix, Thomas' recruitment is sure to be hotly contested even after he makes his choice. With that being said, Thomas is not the type of recruit who will flip or waver once a decision is made. Whoever gets a commitment from Thomas is going to get a great player who is going to be a strong advocate for their program.

I like hearing that.

We should get a ton of guys like that, who will stick by their commitment, if only for my blood pressure.

Here is to hoping you are wrong.

The kid would start for us as a true freshman.

Knows Arnett.

Has seen Sparty at their peak, and you know what, I bet East Lansing at it's very best compared to Neyland is like a candle compared to the sun.

He can immediately move past Ramar Smith into favorite Vol ever from Detroit.
