Michigan really does have a good defense (read: Mattison is a champ), but that's somewhat inflated from playing some pretty terrible offenses (UMASS, Notre Dame, Illinois, Purdue). Probably the same for WKU, but it's still a great accomplishment.

Oh, I know. You have to take into consideration who a team has played. I'd be willing to bet that UT's record and stats would be better if they had played Michigan's schedule so far.
