Still amazes me that a kid from just over the mountains in NC , whose a probable 5* doesn't have an offer from us. He's already got his top 5 (UF, Clemson, VT, OU, NC St.) so I'm not sure if offering this late really does anything anyways.

Yea makes no sense. He's the #1 LB in NC and we haven't offered puzzles me. Do we even have a coach that is responsible for the state? Also, who's recruiting VA etc? Its a position of need and the kid is like right next door and we haven't invited him to dinner.

Its safe to say Lance Thompson and staff prefer other players at the position.
there are quite a few VOL offers for LBs floating around.

One of the writer for the FTU claims he was close to pulling the trigger for Dabo. Clemson will put together a Top 5 class easy...if Lane, Mike, Anthony and Pagan sign come NSD.

there's no reason a middle of the road acc team should be our recruiting us...even if we did just go through a major coaching change...what in the world is clemson doing?

I guess I just misinterpreted it. I know VT is the best. I just took his statement differently I guess.

This kid has some serious skills. UT should always be on NC football studs. I must be missing something here.

Guys anthony isnt located just over the mountains hes right in the middle of the state on the sc border. Lot closer to clemson and sc and a mu h harder pull for us. Clemson has led this one for a long time and u cant blame our staff.

Guys.....there is a reason he doesnt have an offer. If the coaches met with him and he said he had zero interest in UT and would not ever visit.....why waste the scholarship offer?
