Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH)

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 185 lbs
Class: 2011

Stoudt has indicated, that he'd like to visit Tennessee this fall. I'm unsure if that visit has materialized already or not.

His dad is former NFL QB, Cliff Stoudt, and his older brother Zach is a redshirt freshman at Louisville, who originally pledged to Pittsburgh. His father attended Youngstown State before he was drafted in the 5th round by the Steelers. He backed up Bradshaw for several seasons, in addition to spending some time in the USFL.

Stoudt is on the ESPNU 150 preseason watchlist ESPN for 2011. He is sitting out the remainder of this season while he heals from a broken leg.

Prior to the injury, Stoudt was 92-of-146 passing for 1,155 yards with 16 touchdowns and an interception for an offense that was averaging 46.5 points per game before Week 7.

I have seen him play a couple times in person.....I honestly didnt know he was this "highly" thought of. His high school is about 5 minutes from my house. They are usually pretty good.

Hearing he may commit early to Cincinnati. He's a good player but has had a season ending injury that is pretty serious.

What kind of offense does he play in?

I haven't seen Coffman play in a few years but I think they run some variation of the spread. Not 5 wide but 3 and sometimes 4 wide and usually in the shotgun.

Stoudt already has 3 offers. Cincinnati, West Virginia and I think Indiana.

I'd think ND definitely leads but he looks very impresssive. With Braxton Miller being an OSU lock, we should be aggressive with Stoudt and maybe pull him from Ohio

He's a good player. I think he's a much better QB than Braxton Miller personally.

I've seen Miller a lot and I think he's terribly overated.

Stoudt now holds offers from Arizona St, Cincy, South Florida, Wyoming, Miami (OH), Ohio, and Toledo.

may be a guy to keep an eye on.

I know Worely is prob one of the qbs but any idea who the other one may be?

It would be a lower tier guy. Here are a few guys I would consider a possibility at this point.

OH Cole Stoudt
MO Christian Suntrup
TN Mike Wegzyn
TN Michael Johnson
TN Jake Overbey
GA Tony Daniel
GA C.J. Uzomah

Stoudt and Suntrup may be too highly rated to wanna be the #2 QB in a class. Wegzyn has the best chance of the in-state guys to earn a UT offer. Daniel loves the Vols and could earn an offer if he comes up for camp and has a solid season. I think Daniel or any of the in-state guys would jump on the opportunity. Uzomah, if he wants to play QB, is gonna be the #2 QB in some school's class. Nobody is wanting to take him as their only #1 QB unless Clemson possibly would.
