Brewer picked up a Vol offer last week. He is a 4star on Rivals.

He is currently committed to Texas Tech and sounds solid to them. He is a finalist for the Elite 11 camp in Cali later this summer.

He also holds offers from Texas, Auburn, Clemson, Kansas, Arizona, ASU, Baylor, etc.

With him living in Austin, TX, one has to wonder if that Texas offer is valid.

Yes.

That is somewhat of a slow 40 time for a "dual-threat" QB. Is it even realistic that he leaves the state of TX?

Seems like we are offering alot of dual-threat QBs.

I think the only 2 we have offered are Golson and Brewer. We offered Marshall as a DB and the rest are Pro-Style guys.

Brewer threw for over 316 yards per game, finishing with 4,450 yards and 43 TDs. Wow!Not sure if Tubbs knows what to with this type of kid but he would have been special under Leach.
