Daniel Lasco - Football Recruiting

Scout.com: Daniel Lasco Profile

Baron Flenory on Scout is reporting that the Vols just offered this kid, and he has offers from Texas and Miami as well. Flenory said that he was clocked recently running a 4.26. His exact words when describing Lasco were: "Lasco runs away from people that can run. Plays against some dogs. He is big time."

I really think we should sue Texas for using The T and that crappy shade of orange reminds me of a spoiled apricot or sun dried peach...and after all the university is older than their whole state which it took tesseans to win for them

This thread is about a running back from Texas. You are talking about a defensive end from Georgia.

From ESPN
RB Daniel Lasco (The Woodlands, Texas/Woodlands) -- ESPNU 150 Watch Lister
Breakdown: Lasco is another very fast back from the Houston area. The 6-0, 190-pounder excels as a one-cut, vertical-burst runner. He is well-rounded with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. He will likely play running back at the next level but could get a look or two at receiver. Lasco has been a star in the area, since his 200-plus yard game in the 5A playoffs as a freshman.

Recruitment: Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, TCU and Houston have made offers.

If a legit 4.26, it is stupid for Texas not to lock him up. I know it is a big state, but if he is not going to a Tex school, who knows how legit it is? Go VOLS.
