im almost 100% sure that hes a SR this year, but hes had several brothers that were no where near as good as he is, but he does have a little brother standing next to him in the pic bellow thats gona be a heck of a wr.

we played against him last couple years and he has gotten bigger , stronger , faster every year. he plays QB but his team runs the "wildcat" 75% of the time they were like my HS team back in the day a running QB and passing QB.

Myron is a legit 5'11 221 lbs, and he just ran all over us and we have some big kids this year (41-7) he had 5 TD's and over 250 yards rushing. and was 2-3 on passing with a 2 pt conversion. LOL.


but i think this kid is a legit D1 talent, he was at carson newman camp this last off season with a few of our kids. i think hes ALOT more dynamic than sensabaugh.

i have watched him personaly do 325 lbs @ 13 reps and max @ 400 @ 3 reps. number



he has ben HAND timed in the mid 4.4 range so its probley a legit 4.58 or so. max preps or none of the major recruting sites have any ifno on this kid but they need to.


i got his permisson to put up a few photos of him here taken by a friend that coaches his team. he is number 16 ofcourse.

How is he 2010/2011?

Kinda looks like Taharin Tyson from Alcoa though just in like build, but Taharin may be a bit bigger.

im pretty sure hes a SR, but possibley just a JR. thats why i put it like that, sorry for the confusion.

this kid is built like EB. im more impresed with him (and so is his head coach) than each of the jones brothers which i played against thomas and julius.

Pinkston isn't near the player Sensabaugh is. I know I have seen both play several times. It isn't close. Pinkston doesn't have game to play D1. Plays against very weak , very weak, competion. 1a VA. Football. Also I don't really care what he runs a 40 in. You watch him in pads and he looks lazy to me. Doesn't explode through the hole.

Powell Valley has had some good players over the years. Namely the Jones brothers. Thomas and Julian. But this kid's talent level isn't near that. Not even close.

ive played against thomas and julius and coached against pinkston, so im probley in a better posistion to judge how good he is, he has the size strength and speed to play D1, and i still talk to juluis pretty often he deff agrees with me and not just because hes from powell valley, ive seen this kid against top talent in the state at several camps, 1A-4A... he still dominated.


and i know you havent seen him this year unless you was at our slaughter, he is a kid on a mission.

I seen him at the jamboree at Va. High earlier THIS YEAR. As well as several times over the last couple years. Didn't really impress me much at all in the game vs. Va. High. Slow in pads doesn't get through the holes. Again very, very, very weak competion. What did he do agaist Lebanon last night? Come on.

I also seen Thomas and Julian play several times. If you or whoever thinks this kid has near the potential those two had you are just wrong and honestly shouldn't be acessing talent. The kid is a pretty good RB in SWVa but as far as playing D1. Forget about it. He isn't good enough. Sensabaugh would take this kids lunch money and send him home crying to mommy.

he probley is playing a little lazy but i havent heard anything about the lebanon game last nite, but he did get a late anckle injury in our game, but he is pretty much toying with theese kids. i dont care if you you saw the jones brothers play, i played against them, and camped with julius and we are still good friends, he called me after they spanked us last week. that and the fact ive seen alot more of this kid than you get better every year. you said you only saw him play once. and that qualifys you on what he is capabile of?

ive not seen alot of sensabaugh so i dont think hes all that special, but that verry well could be wrong , just for the same reason i think you are.

if pinkston does go d2 he will have an oustanding carrier. i had a 1 D1 offer from the team that plays clawfense now. playing against that weak competiton you speak of and i only took maybe 8-9 snaps a game ofcourse it was a tad better back in the late 90s.

It might be weak comp but thomas jones and julius jones played there. Also, Heath Miller played in SW Va as well as many other division one players.

I watched this kid play in the game you are referring to, he is not Division 1 material. He has the size of a D-1 RB but does not have the speed or anywhere near the talent. I like him as a player though and I think he could succeed at the Division II level or NAIA.

That said, the competition in this part of the state is considerably weaker than it was in the '90s. Ten years ago several teams from SWVA could have gone into the much larger schools in NE Tennessee and cleaned house but that isn't the case now although I will call it right now that Gate City beats Sullivan South next week. Pinkston does not dominate games anywhere near the way Thomas Jones and Heath Miller did. You can tell a pro athlete no matter the competition. Pinkston isn't near the same class as those guys. He isn't even the best prospect in his own district as Martinez Miles from J.I. Burton is the much better prospect who has good speed and incredible size at 6'0" and around 220. I still don't think he's D-1 scholarship material. If you seriously played against the Jones brothers, you need to go back and watch some tape of the way they dominated the competition, Pinkston does not and he did not have 5 TDs in the game you are referring to. I only remember 1, maybe 2.

If you're referring to Miles, yes, I have seen him. He looks like a man among boys out there. He holds a scholarship offer from VMI and is getting interest from Virginia Tech among others. I don't think he has a future as a D-1 RB but could possibly make a team as a linebacker. He does not put up eye-popping stats except in the yards per carry column as he only gets around 10 carries a game typically.

Now he (Pinkston) is on his way to jail for cocaine charges...he was kicked off of PV football team for similar issues....Had D1 talent...but never applied himself
