Jake Heaps' number 1 target a Skyline and this kids a beast himself. Is one of the top WR's for 2011 and shows much interest in Tennessee. He comes up with big plays, in big games. Intercepted a pass to end the game in the state championship last past year and caught a huge long ball in the end of the state championship game 2 years ago if im not mistaken. Were the only SEC team on both Heaps and Williams list and that sure can't hurt. We have offered per scout and just show interest per rivals. Can anyone confirm an offer?

Scout.com spoke Sunday with Kasen Williams, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver prospect from Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash., and Williams let us know that he's received his fourth verbal scholarship offer - not too shabby for a prospect that won't be graduating high school until 2011.

Williams finished with 56 catches for over 900 yards and 13 scores for the undefeated Spartans, winners of two state titles since Kasen joined the team

With Washington introducing their new head coach, Steve Sarkisian, recently, Williams was an interested spectator to the proceedings. "I need to talk to my Mom about scheduling a meeting with (Sarkisian)," Williams said, noting that he hasn't gotten a chance to meet Sarkisian yet. "(Skyline QB) Jake (Heaps) set up a meeting with him and he said he's a good guy, and I usually feel the same way as Jake does."

This bodes well for us. Hopefully he'll take an unofficial to Knoxville soon.

Here are his 2008 highlights

and here are his freshman highlights

Kasen is an athletic freak, but he is still incredibly young and raw, pretty much the opposite of Jake.

His father Aaron Williams was a WR at UW (some people consider him as one of the best all-time Husky WRs) so that's going to be a big pull. Another fun fact: Aaron Williams set a state triple jump record which still stands today, and Kasen is most likely going to break it this year as a Sophomore.

This kid is incredible. He is just dominant. Has great hands and does exactly that...uses his hands to make the catch. He looks a bit slow but that can improve and speed isn't everything if you run good routes and find the open seams. We're one of four to already offer and that's a good thing.

Yeah it's gonna be hard to pull him after hearing that. I believe the main reason Eric Berry came here was because his dad played here.

It might be hard, but it won't be impossible. His sister had an offer to play soccer at UW and she decided to go to ASU.

Here's a pretty good article about their family, and in addition to the father being a great WR, their mother was a track and field star. Athlete + Athlete = More athletes.

there are 8 verbal offers out there and this is 7 of them.

(FYI to anyone unaware: he's a sophomore so the offer must be a verbal pledge and not a written commitable offer.)

BYU
Cal
Stanford
Tennessee
UCLA
UW
WSU

I think Notre Dame may be the 8th offer, but I couldn't confirm that.

Based on statements thus far, he and Heaps seem like good candidates to be a package deal.

On Sunday, the world learned about Class of 2011 receiver Kasen Williams (Sammamish, Wash./Skyline). The 6-2, 210-pounder, who has been busy catching passes from highly-regarded quarterback Jake Heaps, is a big target who caught nearly everything that was thrown his way during the one-on-one portion of the camp.

From the Nike camp over the weekend.

and although MVP was given to a 2010 WR, Kasen was the first name mentioned when USC recruiters were asked about which WRs stood out at the camp.

I get fired up seeing that film. Would be just great if Heaps and this kid sign with UT

Kasen just got first place in the high jump, long jump, 4x100 relay, and in the triple jump he beat the 2nd place finish by 4 feet.
