"My strengths of my game are my speed and the ability to catch the football," Clarke said. "As a receiver I need to work on my blocking and continue to work on my route running."

"Tennessee was my first to offer. That was good and it was very exciting for me. I don't know too much about them but I am looking into the Vols for sure.
Right now if I had to name a top five it would be Florida, Miami, Tennessee, USF and Alabama.

WR Devin Clark
5-10/165, Sebring
Clark was easily one of the top receivers at USF over the weekend. He runs well and is very smooth at this position. Clark can get behind a defense deep or make the tough grab over the middle or on the sideline, showing concentration and field awareness. Clark had a big game against Tony Grimes of Hollywood Hills, scoring twice. Last season Clark had 70 receptions for more than 1,100 yards and nine scores. He also returned three kicks for scores.

Clarke's Jr yr stats:
72 receptions 1121 yards 8 TDs

It is amazing how quietly TN is in with these Florida players. This recruiting staff appears to be getting it done.

this kid has nothing to do with our current staff, this is all eddie gran and or coach o. tennessee was the first to offer... last year. kid really wants to stay home it looks and has UT and bama the only schools outside of his state. good thing fsu is not on his radar.

Yeah. In spite of the panic attacks many here have had because they weren't getting info... top recruits are routinely coming out of nowhere saying that UT has offered or is high on their list.

I guess while some were suggesting DD wasn't doing anything... he was. He just wasn't telling the world about it.

Are you sure the offer came from the old staff? I don't know and it didn't say in the article...

"I want to go in and play right away. Playing time is big. I would love to start so I am looking at systems and depth charts."

Why not? we are handed out an offer yesterday to a local kid that only had 1 other school looking at him. This kid has 3 schools, so he must be worthy. No wait, he in not local therefore can not be offered.

Could this be a fallback option for Arnett?

LV, you think if we were not able to land Arnett the staff would take Dallas be done at WR & take Buie or Seymour at RB to keep adding speed to this class?

“My top schools are Louisville, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas Tech and USF,” said Clarke. “I’m open-minded, but Tennessee, Louisville and USF are my top three.”
