12/17 Bowl Games Thread

All these games suck and don't deserve their own thread, but it's bowl season once again, so I'll lump them into this. All games on ESPN, all times Eastern.

2:00: New Mexico Bowl, Wyoming (8-4) vs. Temple (8-4)
5:30: Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (now featured at KFC!), Ohio (9-4) vs. Utah State (7-5)
9:00: New Orleans Bowl, UL-Lafayette (8-4) vs. San Diego State (8-4)

Who ya got? Temple, USU, and ULL for myself.

I don't know. None of the Ohio players seem excited about going to Idaho in December and Utah State was three plays from being a 10-2 squad this year. Either way, it's my least confident pick.

It definitely snuck up on me, I had no idea until yesterday I hadn't entered any bowl pick groups yet. Had to do that pretty quickly.

Wyoming simply can't stop a Temple offense that wasn't really great this year. Doesn't bode well for them.

Temple's about to make this 21-0 and there's nothing else on. Ugh.

Temple responds with a 61 yard TD right before the half! This game actually became entertaining for a few minutes.

When UNM is in the bowl they haven't even sold it out. No idea how it's made it six years now, it's an atrocious game.

I don't see how the majority of them last; outside of the BCS bowls and the bigger "lesser" bowls (Capital One, Outback, Cotton, etc.), it seems hardly any of them can get fans to show up.
