Guys that big in high school really aren't that rare. Guys that size that can move are. Frequently, big guys in high school are easy targets for moderate sized agressive high school players.

It all depends on whether or no he can move, and if he is a baller.

Without more information, the height and size don't say anything about his chance of getting a scholarship offer from Dooley.

Yup..had a friend in high school who was 6'4 310, but he played golf. Could murder a golf ball though....

I agree he does have to have VERY quick feet and hands to play d1 football - that being said, you can't coach size. If anyone checks him out I would love to here an evaluation on him.

In high school i went up against some guys that were 6'5 6'6 and 6'8 and they were fairly easy to beat off the edge but the 6'3 and smaller were the ones that gave me a fit.

I was in that book years ago, and I didn't get any D-1 offers.

That book is just pictures and guys the coaches pick as signficant contributors. At the time it was 5 per team.

Its great he is in it, but it doesn't tell anything when it comes to chance of getting a D-1 scholarship. Other than being one the 5 best upper classman on his High School team.

All that said, I wish the kid well and hope does have the foot and hand speed to make it to D-1.

Good luck to him!

Really? I wouldn't mind getting a little taller. If you could find out what workout he has his guys on that makes them 6'5" that would be great.
