According to JB, Tennessee is recruiting him and his dad has family in Tennessee.

Bassett, a 5-foot-8, 150-pound athlete with 4.3 forty speed, started as a sophomore for Plano East who plays in the highest class in the state of Texas.

He's a Texas kid, so possibly.

Any type of growth spurt and he'll be 5'10 which good for a corner with his speed. Anybody remember Tye Hill for Clemson? He wasn't that big but he was super fast. He and Justin Miller dominated our receivers when we played them.
