Coaches and schools do not like to admit to interviews. That way, no one ever has to admit to being turned down.

Every coach, every year denies ever having "interviewed", met with or spoken to a single team.. Just saying its annoying all the meetings that did take place, then moments later didn't take place, then moments later people close to this person say he nailed his interview, then another report saying it never happened... Enough bs to fill a silo.

Yeah I get that, makes sense. Coaches also don't want people to know if someone else was chosen over them. It just gets ridiculous and frustrating as a fan sometimes with all of the back and forth of conflicting reports!!!

When you are currently employed, it is usually best to keep your dealings on the down low just incase you don't get the job.
