Meighan Simmons scored a team-high 18 points to lead six Lady Vols in double figures as the No. 13/12 Lady Vols crushed No. 18/20 Texas, 94-75, on Sunday at the Frank Erwin Special Events Center.

they didn't get the game roster to the officials 10 mins prior to tip off,i've got to say i have never seen that one called before

I was happy to make the drive down to Austin from Fort Hood to watch the game. It was awesome to see our girls play. The pre-game technical was a new one on me, though.

The refs really let the two teams play physical at first but then tightened it up. We really hit the offensive boards hard. I hope we can beat the Lady Bears like a drum on Tuesday. I'd be in Waco then, too, if I didn't have to go to stupid Fort Polk on Monday. Not much in he world more depressing than 3 days in at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Sheeesh ...

Love this team! Exciting, energetic, focused, defense-minded, take shots when they are there, and go after rebounds as if they think they all belong to us.

They are getting better and better. If we can just keep away from more injuries, this team will be very special.

I like the way this team plays. They don't know they are not supposed to win. Good play after Texas cut it to 10 points. Very athletic team. I knoe Simmons is a shooter but she forced a bunch of shots today..would prefer to see her get ger points more in the flow of the game.

Very good win for the ladies.
