If you want to see how really bad the play is in the SEC, watch a few minutes of this game. I knew we were bad, but I'd almost forgotten how enjoyable it is to watch quality basketball.

That was a great game. I hated the way it ended, but man, great basketball.

I watched the bama -v- vols game and my biggest questions were:
1) where was the toughness
2) why are the old duffers sitting all the way around the lower bowl (cept a small portion of students.) dang, TBA could be the most intimidating arena in the SEC if they put the students in place of the blue hairs. Im47 years old, I shouldnt be allowed within 20 rows of the court. Should be a student section all the way around that place. (of course, if it was football......it would be that way.)

Yep TBA has major potential the problem is the school is too greedy and would rather make the money selling those seats to season ticket holders.

It ticked off some season ticket holders when Mich State did it a few years ago (and Im not trying to compare the two schools too much) But the folks that decided not to buy tickets, were replaced by someone else who was waiting for them.

Even if it was just 3 sides, and leave the seats behind the benches for the donors. That is how it is done at MSU. and dang, at TBA those students would be right on top of the court. The home court advantage would double if that happened.

Its a pretty impressive place to begin with. If a recruit came in for a game, and saw that place with a huge student section surrounding the court.....dang...that'd be awesome.
