Strengths:
Good size and he's a rock in the lane. Will be a tough guy to pusharound once he develops his basketball ego and becomes comfortable in his own skin. Impressed with his quick hands at both ends. Takes care of rebounds in his area and is a rebound and stickback guy. Not a big guy or particularly long but does cobble up his share of blocked shots.

Weaknesses:
Needs to establish himself in the position and command the basketball. Does not have a go to scoring move that he relies on consistently. On the defensive end, he's prone to going for fakes and picking up cheap fouls because he has a habit of leaving his feet to block shots.

Bottom Line:
Tracking as a mid-major player but needs offensive development. Excellent student and has a strong desire to improve so he has that going for him.

I'm going to 110% trust Martin, because if he doesn't know what it takes to win with the big boys by now then we are doomed anyways. Martin had to take in some lesser talent last year due to the lack of depth issues, but I think he'll find a way to get rid of the garbage to get the guys he wants. Martin just didn't know when he came here that after one year he could pull a Stokes etc here. I think Edwards and Reese were top choices for him at the beginning of the year, and when Oakland, AP, etc beat us it didn't seam to far a stretch. Martin's done a great job so if he wants someone then lets see what the kids got.

If UNC & Duke aren't after him I would be interested in knowing why. He's in their backyard.

Sounds like another Yemi project. Hopefully it works out (Yemi that is) but I'd rather get someone with a little higher basketball IQ and somebody that gets faked out of their shoes and constantly leaves the floor trying to block shots is not it.

I'm still thinking this is probably because of our major need for post guys in this class. There's a good chance the only scholarship big man well have is yemi.

We're in on some great talent, but besides Kingsley, Nichols and Ringer not too many posts. And besides Nichols the other 2 at this point don't seem to have Tennessee too high on their list. Could be more of an insurance move by CCMto get in good with this guy incase we miss on Ringer and Kingsley.

UT offer confirmed by AAU team Boo Williams coach. Should get some good exposure as well as competition playing for the Boo Williams team, always have some good talent.

On another note, he is reportedly up to 6' 9" 260 lbs now.
