'13 TN OT Christian Morris

did,nt Morris have a good camp in oregon at the opening i think.ill take skipper but with his height im worried about him playing tackle because you get some 6,3 2.45 pounder like foster or lawson speed rushing off the edge and the only way i see skipper blocking them would be by grabbing them by the horse coller.skipper size makes me think that he would be slow with shotty footwork

2.45 pounds? Lightweight IMO.

Not talking to any reporters until signing day sorry that's how it has to be.

Does anyone have a clue where UCLA is in terms of their OL? Have they picked up interest in additional prospects of late? Just wonderin'

They have (7) current OL guys committed in this class. 4 of the starters on their OL last year were FR/SO. They had 1 JR. They took (5) guys on the OL in last years class. I think they are doing pretty well on OL recruiting.

I said this a few days ago and got blasted for it but the more I think about it the more I think him going silent with the media isn't good for us.

Staying silent keeps the locals off him as oppose to saying he is firm to UCLA. Hope I am wrong but I don't like where this one is heading

That is how I feel about it. It's hard to say for sure, but I think if he wanted to be a Vol, saying so now would do nothing but get people off his back. I seriously doubt UCLA would be sending any coaches to Tennessee to see if they could flip him back with 6 others committed for the OL. Usually when a kid flips late to the state school, most teams move on. I can't think of any reason to hold off and allow it to simmer for 3-4 weeks unless he is sticking with the Bruins.

I feel the same.

Agreed.

I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a reason for him to go into media isolation and for the life of me, I can't come up with any plausible reason favoring the Vols. Unfortunately, I think we miss on this one.

Didn't I read somewhere that Morris got great reviews for his work in some big camp in Oregon?

Yup interesting the guru's from most recruiting sites love his footwork, I am far from impressed on film. Saw slow feet. If he is athletic enough, a ton of quickness drills might could help.

I'm probably reading to much into it but I didn't understand CM standing directly behind everyone with a helmet on in the "visit" picture. I know JC had a helmet on but he was front and center. If CM thought he might end up a Vol wouldn't he thought a little more of the picture? I'll be glad when NSD gets here. I'm almost sure I'm over thinking it but still it seems odd.

I don't know if it's good or bad but if you want to think positively, it's because he gave a commitment to someone that he is now wanting to break. When I feel conflicted, I like to go into hibernation too. Unless you are the individual, it's hard to say now you handle things.

Just heard C.Morris left early from his visit, but not sure if it was for bad reasons necessarily. Last weekend was an amazing weekend and all of the official visitors really enjoyed their trips. They partied with all of the team Saturday.

Intersting the responses tonight to my post. The other night I posted the same thing and you would have thought I had just told a second grade class that Santa wasn't real. Anyway I hope I am wrong but I think this one isn't going to end well.

He flew out early Sunday morning, but I think that was because he had to be back early on Sunday. It wasn't because he said during the middle of the visit that he wanted to leave.

He tweeted out while he was on the visit to Tennessee that he would not be doing any interviews with anyone and to this point he hasn't.

Dont see it like that either. Think he is really torn between staying loyal and staying close to home. I dont know enough about Mora, maybe he is a complete douche and Morris doesnt want to have to deal with being harrased by him and the staff. Who knows but hope he's a Vol.

I would think it would be alot easier to just not answer the phone calls with the Cali number if he flipped to UT now than to try and avoid contact with anyone in the state you live in. JMO
