this guy has had a very solid junior year and is now starting to get lots of looks from high major d1 programs, memphis is starting to recruit him. tennessee and marquette along with wichita state are the 3 programs he said were recruiting him that hardest as of a couple months ago.

he plays on the memphis YOMCA aau team along with JW3 so thats one reason the guy has gone some what over looked. just another one of the memphis area kids that could shoot up the rankings heading into their senior year.

Ron Slay, Ramon Foster, Renardo Foster and this guy are all related. Pretty good bloodlines. 2 NFL players and a great basketball player in his time at UT.

Tennessee wanted him to work out for them the Friday before he went to Vegas. He said he thought they might offer him then but I dont know if it worked out or not. I havent talked to him since then but I know him and Crawford like UT a lot, I hope he gets the offer and blows up this year.

Yea he told me they're going to offer after the real deal tournament TIFWIW. He definitely likes UT though.

Crawford has UT #2 right now, but I feel good about our chances.

Dyson hasn't gotten as much hype due to an injury, he missed most of his junior year and this past weekend was actually the first time he'd played since Christmas. I expect him to have a good AAU season and start to get some serious attention.

Very, very well spoken and great kid, so far my favorite kid I've talked to. Everything is yes sir thank you sir, very impressive.

Also surrounded by great parents, and great family members, good blood lines as well.

Great young man.

Who does Crawford have on top of his list?

Very close to receiving an offer from Tennessee.

A committable offer or a "check with us before you do anything" offer? Hard to believe he wouldn't jump on a legit offer quickly and equally hard to believe TN would take him before guys like Hubbs, Thornwell or Markell Crawford made a decision.

That part I'm not too sure about. I'd tend to agree with you though that it may be hard to think they'll take his committment before those other guys make a decision.

My question is, is coach Martin actually making those "wait and see offers". He didn't make one with Reese, and he didn't make one with Moore, they just held off and finally offered. I'd like to know definitively.
