13 year old, already 7 feet tall

We had a kid come to my HS to visit when I was a freshman and he was 7 feet, no joke.

He was in 8th grade

He went to Dematha and turned out to be terrible at basketball

So dont get your hopes up yet

I actually feel sorry for this kid. You look at the medical problems that Bol, Ming, and the guy from UNC Ashville have experienced and you can't help but hope that he doesn't ruin his joints and bones by playing a sport that puts such stress on your skeletal system. If he were to stop growing today, I might have a different perspective, but this kid is going to have significant medical problems.

like said earlier, this cant be healthy. now if he as good mobility and good knees, then thats when you can start the "this kid is special talk"
