Really excited with this commitment. Bryant, Bates, Mouhon, and Weatherd would be a great LB haul (one of the best we've had in a long time), and anything else is gravy. Still hoping for one more though...Wilson or Garrett please.

Another 247 "coincidence." Bryant looks like the real deal, but 247 is a joke. Why anyone would pay 247 for news THEY create is beyond me.

All it takes is this kid being determined to get his academics in order. Its really not that hard if you have a plan. Hell, headed into my senior year I had a 1.9 GPA and hadn't taken the act. Resolved to do better and graduated with honors and a 26 on the act. Just gotta have resolve. I think he will stick regardless of whether the in state schools come calling or not. Sounds to me like he has something to prove.

Your GPA went up 1.6 grade points in two semesters? I'm sorry...but that's nothing short of miraculous.

It's not. 1.0 is the most a GPA can increase on one year if you're on the 4.0 system. He didn't say he increased that much though.

It's not possible unless somehow he got some previous grades changed. Just think about it...his avg gpa was 1.9. So if he made a 4.0 his last year his gpa would still be 1.9+1.9+1.9+4.0= 9.7/4=2.425. So not sure how he could have graduated with honors unless he retook some old classes or something.

Ahh ok, I see now. If one took all honors classes technically couldn't it raise more than a 1.0? (even though it isn't feasible as honor students likely would never be in a situation to raise their GPA by a full point)
