It's because of the doubters, isn't it? He was going to sign with us, but all the nega-Jacksons have chased him away. Damn them for effecting our recruiting with their postings on a mb.

Here's the update, he's not coming to Tennessee. Do I still care about his announcement? Sure.

But those of you who still think there is even the smallest chance he signs with Tennessee are just delusional and asking to be disappointed tomorrow when tomorrow should be all about celebration.

Negativity like yours is why he changed his mind late last night. Before that, he was going to be all Vol.

I think the vast majority of fans will be happy with where we finish in the recruit rankings. A Top 10 finish for a 5-7 team is not normal and helps put this class as well as the last class into perspective.

I wonder if it has ever been done? A team that has 4 straight losing seasons finish in the top 10 in recruiting.

I think as long as he is not attempting to trick the coaching staff from any of the schools there is no real reason to "hate".

What I don't like is recruits telling coaching staff before NSD or prior to their announcement that they are "committed" then after the team has made plans on other recruits, boarding, and roster they do a switch. This is especially bad on NSD and just prior to EE.

All schools should know where they stand by now. There is a reason why Janzen Jackson is no longer welcome in the state and it has nothing to do with picking the Vols.

Unfortunately I think it's going to be Florida. Took the USC visit to appease his parents but as we found out, the parents don't have too much sway.
