I can't decide what creeps me out more - this lady or Wilcox practicing his creeper skills.

so this looks like one of the commits that we will get tomorrow. apparently we will be getting at least 2. BeRad on twitter said there is a possible 3rd

Who's that?

A guy in Knoxville associated with ainge. Goes on the show all the time. I'm pretty sure his name is brad fullington and he owns a financial planning company. Ainge has him on to talk about recruiting a lot.

Payne is a well-rounded corner from a scheme standpoint and would be higher up our board if he had a bit more size and top-end speed. He grows on you as a total football player the more you watch him and see his intangibles at the position. Has a shorter frame but is a muscular and tightly-wound athlete who plays bigger and stronger than his listed measurables suggest. Longer arms for his height and he uses his length in coverage. Flashes good play speed but might have better burst than top-end speed. Shows very good instincts and awareness skills. He anticipates the pass well and does a good job timing his break. Maintains his leverage and takes proper angles in both the run and pass game. Attacks to what he sees making him effective in zone schemes and off-man coverages. Will stay low in his backpedal, keeping tight and controlled. He's fluid coming out of breaks with good explosion. Shows good change-of-direction skill set with the ability to drive on routes in front of him. Will flip hips cleanly to open and run, tracking the ball well downfield on vertical routes. Takes smart, direct angles and will exhibit good make-up speed from a trail position.

He will effectively mirror receivers from an off-man technique. Shows good quickness and footwork to transition fluidly when receiver breaks cushion, keeping hip-to-hip. In press, he will turn and run but needs to work hands more consistently and stop receiver from getting a free release. Still keeps good inside positioning and utilizes length to separate the ball from receiver. Possesses very good hands and concentration to make a play on the ball with a pick or deflected pass. He has good athleticism to time his jump and position himself to attack the football at its highest point. Is active in zone coverage, reacting quickly to what he sees underneath. Comes from depth and is aggressive in run support. He fights through stalk block and can set the edge. Displays good underneath range. Is a solid tackler but will leave his feet instead of wrapping up consistently. He is not shy about contact though and playing with physicality. He's a corner with a lot of man-to-man experience and is confident, but we do not see the speed to continue takings risks at the college level. Has time on offense as a slot receiver, producing in fly sweeps in a spread attack. Also has return ability.
Payne plays with a lot of moxy and knows where he needs to be on the field to make a play. He is productive in all three phases of the game and has the hips and foot speed to possibly play on an island at the next level. Payne's size might be a question, but his athleticism, instincts and attack mentality are major assets.

What if all three players came from the same school. The ultimate package deal of D'Andre Payne, Jalen Tabor, and DaeJuan Funderburk. That would be awesome.

This what I've been saying all day, I just didn't know if they offered Funderburk. Man this would be so sweet. Payne still has a year to grow. He could end up 5'10/11 190? That's not to unrealistic

Edit: well he is only 169, so I could see 5'10/11, 181-185

hopefully the uov to vandy is just for show. if he commits to them tmrw, many unhappy vflers there will be.
