There's a thread on the SEC Rant recruiting board saying that Payne has committed to Tennessee. It was started 2 hrs ago so idk how valid it is.

Well since you want to try and be a smartass..

I would love to see more talk from DL and OL like we are hearing from every other position. Its just not happening. Its a long long way to go and I understand that, been here long enough but until I see them on the board I can ask all I want.

Those are the two biggest needs we have outside LB and we have good momentum with a ton of LBs so I am happy happy happy with LB recruiting. But, lineman have been the bane of recruiting at UT for a long time (specifically DL) and I am so sorry that I want to see more excited about whats happening here like the other positions.

If you or Serenautios dont want to hear anyone want lineman news you might want to start adding a lot of us to ignore.

I just don't want to hear about it in the thread for a db who may have just committed. Go to a linemans thread if you want to have that convo.

Anyway, I hope what were hearing is true. I'm excited about this class, and we need all the talented DBs we can find.

Concur, lineman are always important, but a good DB can make average DL excellent in pass defense. Hope Payne commits soon, would be a tremendous pickup.

It's an interesting situation.

There are some rumors floating around that he indeed committed, but right now they're just rumors.

What makes it interesting is that he stayed like 3 days in Knoxville.

He could have committed today and will go public tomorrow. That's just me speculating though.
