Bravo sir. That was amazing.

Before it is all over, the only recruit to ever get more letters than this kid will be a 5 * quidditch seeker who was a hot prospect at Hogwarts Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I mean, seriously, has coach Jones considered using owls to expedite the recruitment process!

Bravo.

Best part of Franklin emphasizing education is the fact that he went to East Stroudsburg, which is near where I grew up, and I can tell you it rests at the bottom of the PA college system. In fact, it was a punch line on 'The Sopranos' as A.J.'s safety school. But hey, some people are foolishly "byeing" into what Franklin is selling.

ESU is my alma mater's main rival. Obviously I have nothing good to say of them, but seriously, they suck.

I loled the first time I heard Franklin hailed from there.

“Talking to Coach (Kyle) Kempt, he told me they do everything plus two,” Truitt told InsideTennessee. “My dad told me to check the mail when I got home and I went to check it and there was a ton of mail. I didn’t know what it was. Then I checked it and there were 102 letters from Tennessee. It was crazy. No one has ever showed me that much love.”

“Coach Z is my main recruiter,” he said. “I talk to him or Coach (Cody) Kempt almost every day. They stay on me all the time. I have a really good bond with the coaches. I went up there for the first spring practice and got to talk with Coach Z and Coach Thig a lot. It was an honor to visit there and everything went great.”

“I loved watching that first practice,” he said. “Everything was so fast. No one was standing around the whole practice. Coach Jones was everywhere on the practice field and jumping in there and coaching his players.

“A lot of head coaches don’t get out there and coach, but he was right in there with all the players. He was on the intercom getting into it. That was big for me to see that.”

“The atmosphere at a school is important to me,” he said. “I want to feel comfortable with the coaches. That is definitely how I feel at Tennessee. I talk to someone from there almost every day. Talking to Coach Jones means a lot too. It’s not every day you get to talk to the head coach.”

“It has been great to have those guys talking to me on Twitter,” Truitt said of several Vol commits. “I got to talk to Vic (Wharton) today. It is great to get a teenager’s opinion on why they made their decision. I haven’t talked to Todd (Kelly Jr.) yet, but I want to do my research and talking to those guys is definitely part of that.”

“Academics are big for me because I don’t just want to plan the next five years of my life,” Truitt said. “I want to make plans for the rest of my life because I know that football comes to an end at some point.”

“I want to do my research before I make my decision, but that is going faster than I expected it to,” he said. “I was thinking that I would make a decision by the second or third game of my senior season, but it could happen before that. Things are going really well.”

I'm going to go on a limb and say UT has positioned itself well :hi:

This kids sound like he want to pull that trigger and commit. You can tell that he really is into UT right now and I hope he does like he says and does the research he needs to make the best decision for him. I hope that decision is to play ball at UT. This kid has some speed!
