I saw some comparisons, some joking, some wishful, and some serious, to Eric Fisher since CBJ recruited him to Central Michigan.

One that I'm throwing out, whether it's deserved or not at this point, is DJ Fluker. Fluker was the highest rated lineman in the country according to rivals and number 3 player in the country so was probably more polished as a player at this point. Both have the ridiculous offer lists based on their unteachable size and strength, but Fluker redshirted to lose weight and get his body where it needed to be and the rest is history.

Maybe comparing Brown to a first round pick is unfair, but there are similarities. I see Fluker more as a model for coaches to follow with regards to getting Brown's body where they want it to be.

I'm wondering the same thing. His offer list is insane.

I know its brick by brick but we need some of these cinder blocks like Brown and Thomas. They make a good foundation for building brick walls. I really believe we will end up with a great OL haul when its said and done.
