'14 GA OL Orlando Brown (Signed with Oklahoma)

I woke up early and the first thing I did was to put on my boomers. So I am ready to boom around the 3 PM central time. I put best boomers on for this occasion.

Getting my 80's boom box out this morning. If anybody sees an idiot walking around downtown Nashville today with one, it's me! :loco:

I got in the car right as JC from 247 was finishing talking about Zeus, Jr. on Bill King's show a minute ago. Anybody know what he said? Thanks in advance.

Not really, some have better technique than others. Brown has been able to flat out maul people his entire HS career so his technique isn't really good at all. I'm not trying to bring everyone down, no one should get down because if Mahoney is able to flip the switch on him, he could end up being one of the top 5 Olinemen of this class.

I'd be curious as to who you could site that came in as a polished freshman o-lineman and excelled out of the gate.

I disagree about the "dozens of non commitable offers". He recently has been visited by coaches from Bama, Ohio State and other top names in his group. If you look through a past commit lists from Bama they takes "projects" quite often, including Chance Warmack, Brandon Hill, their current starting center. He has also continued to receive offers from BCS programs, and it's not like it stopped because college coaches no longer want him.

Are there legit concerns? Yes. (Weight issues, technique, form) All of those things are fixable, but you can't change naturally athletic, prototypical frame, NFL bloodlines, and a great attitude. Seems like a genuinely good kid, and every analyst always mentions his work ethic.
I'm not waiting until 3pm, BOOM.

James was solid as a freshman. Doubt he would have played if we'd had anyone else, but he held his own.

Several guys have played well after a redshirt year to get stronger.

@ZEUS__78 happy bornday bro! can't wait to play against you for the next 5 years😏

I guess this shows where both are going. UGA vs UT

OBJ is also very young for his grade, which might lead to a RS. Over a year an a half before he touches a college field though. James Stone & Jawuan James were barely 18 when they started their first games for the Vols so its been done.
Our staff also has proven experience of taking kids who may be considered "projects" and turning them into NFL prospects which is something we under value. We are all just extremely hesisitant because of the last years of Dooley.

Well it was the UGA rival poster that brought up the discussion. I believe they are committable.

I'm not saying they're polished, but some have better technique than others. Brown is very, very raw right now. Not every HS OLineman is that raw coming out of HS.
