Did anyone see the exchange from UT fans with Garrett last night? Started with his tweet for TN fans, which was posted. Anyway, one of our pretty blonde fans tweeted him that orange was his color. After a bunch of back and forth between the two, one of our creative UT tweeters broke this gem off:

I kind of had that thought too. After Weatherd tweeted at Garrett yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if Garrett gave him some good news.

I also like how these kids aren't afraid to help recruit highly talented kids who play the same position. That's the kind of competitive spirit that Butch wants from his players and it says a lot about their character and how much they love the Vols.

We have a lot of positive momentum here imo. We have some guys from the state. We are a bit closer to home, and we have an opening for immediate playing time.

Also Garrett seems like a high energy guy and the Florida program seems to be heading down while the Vols are a hot up and coming team.

I hope we can hold off LSU here, and I think we can and will.

This pretty much sums up my feeling of the whole thing. Although I have been feeling like we may be gaining some momentum on him. Just need to get a few more wins on the field and recruiting wins will follow. Can you imagine the booms if we land both Garrett and Malone? My head might explode.

As most of you know I've stated my personal gut feeling than in the end Garrett will be a vol. If I end up being right do I get at least one "I told you so" ?

That might just be yesterday's tacos speaking, but if Bamer beats LSU and we beat Mizzou, then LSU suddenly doesn't look like such a power in the SEC, anymore. That would be their 3rd loss on the season, I believe.

I think we get a ton of (additional) recruiting momentum if we can pull off wins against against Mizzou and Auburn. The kind that could sway Adoree Jackson, Malone and Garrett.
